The United States of America is the greatest nation on Earth. This country was been founded unlike any other country. I believe the it was ordained of God. Our country has had it's problems but is the struggles from these problems that makes us great. It is up to us to make it better. We need to learn our history to help refine us for a better nation.
For our first class: Read the Mayflower Compact. You can find versions on line. Answer this question: what was the purpose of the Mayflower Compact and why? What is the differences between Pilgrims and Puritans? We will play a game where you get to lead your own colonial settlement. Details to follow.
